Off the Plan Purchase

Purchasing an Off the Plan property means you are purchasing a property that has not been built yet or is still under construction. You make your decision to buy based on the building plans and design, rather than the finished product.

Given you are purchasing a property ‘unseen’, purchasers should be aware of their rights and obligations when buying land which is not registered as these rights and obligations differ from a standard residential Contract for Sale.

Off the Plan Contracts are often lengthy and complex which is why we recommend speaking to our property law team prior to placing an offer.

Our team of legal professional will provide advice surrounding the draft plans, Land Zoning Codes & Development Controls, restrictions on the land and translate special conditions in plain English to ensure our clients understand their rights and obligations under the Contract for Sale.

If you are looking at purchasing an Off the Plan property, please contact our office to arrange an appointment with our experienced team.
