Selling your home or investment property is an exciting opportunity however we understand it can also be one of the most important financial decisions you will make. Every Contract for Sale is unique depending on the property and a well drafted Contract for Sale is essential. 

As part of our service, we will:

  • Draft and prepare the Contract for Sale, including obtaining required property searches

  • Liaise with your Real Estate Agent regarding the Contract

  • Negotiate the terms of the Contract with the purchaser’s legal representative

  • Attending to exchange of Contracts

  • Attending to the Discharge of Mortgage with your financial institution (if applicable)

  • Review settlement figures

  • Prepare all necessary documents for settlement

  • Attend the electronic settlement on your behalf.

Our property law team have a high level of detail when drafting your Contract and important details such as inclusions and improvements of the property, length of settlement period and any special conditions required are tailored to your individual circumstances. 

Once the property has hit the market and you and a buyer have negotiated the terms of the Sale, we will act on your behalf in relation to the property transfer.
